Robert (Bob) Gondolf, of Sweetwater, passed away suddenly, at AtlantiCare Mainland, June 23, 2020. Born in Camden, NJ son of Robert and Catherine (Keels) Gondolf.
He completed his undergraduate degree at St. Vincent College and received his master’s degree in Counseling at University of Pittsburgh. He dedicated a large portion of his life counseling the younger underprivileged and minority community in South Jersey.
He loved all things sports and enjoyed nothing more than sitting at home on a Sunday with his loving wife, Susan (Magner) Franklin, watching the Eagles. He cherished his children Molly Gondolf, Erica Franklin, and Edward Franklin (Dana), predeceased by his daughter Shaina Franklin. He adored his two grandsons Austin and Cole Franklin and his extended Magner family. He also loved his canine children, Maggie, Honey, and Jack.
He was intelligent, kind, and caring – and always knew every answer to jeopardy. He was a great storyteller – particularly when it came to history and the world.
He lived a very fulfilling and simple life. He loved his travels with his wife and their friends Rose and John Scaffidi.
His family would like to thank the truly wonderful and excellent staff at Hammonton Dialysis, the caring and dedicated staff at Seacrest in Little Egg Harbor, and the amazing staff at AMI, Galloway, Interventional Radiology.
In lieu of flowers and donations – the family suggests spending an enjoyable, fun filled, evening together with loved ones
