Min was a wonderful woman! She was my sons' (Eric & Adam) best bus driver when they attended Smithville School. She took such good care of all 'her children' she drove. Min will never be forgotten! Janet & David Day

ps We did sent a remembrance out in the mail today to the St. Vincent de Paul Church in Mins name. May God bless her and her family

Min was an exceptional person. She was a great and successful mother to seven boys! That alone makes her exceptional. Min was the embodiment of the true meaning of home.
When David introduced me to his mother, she was always working. She was driving a school bus every morning and afternoon and sometimes even on weekends. She loved her job. I don't know, but I doubt there was ever a student who didn't love her immediately. I know many who grew up came up to her to tell her so though. When she wasn't working, she was cooking. There were always friends and family stopping by, like a revolving door. She made everyone feel welcome. She made everyone feel at home, and she always had delicious food available for them any time of the day or evening! I honestly don't know how she did it all. On holidays, there were wall to wall people: Her sons, their families, and many of her and Sal's friends. For Thanksgiving, she and Aunt Dona would do all the cooking with all the fixings often placed in huge pans over burners etc. None of this was anything I was used to because I didn't have a very large family. It was nothing short of amazing to see only two women feed so many people, entertain all day etc. in one house and it was always beyond delicious!
Min has been telling me for years that I was like a daughter to her. It's possible that she was just saying that to be nice or whatever, at least at first. However, I believe in convincing me, she came to believe it herself or maybe she always really felt that way. It's just such an honor. I consider myself extremely fortunate for that, and for knowing someone so wonderful, whose life has always been so exceptional. There's no one else I've ever known who I would've wanted as a 2nd Mother besides her. I've always felt that connection with her, but most people have. That's one of her many, many gifts. I love her and miss her very much. I know a lot of her friends have passed over also, or they would be writing about how wonderful she was on here too.
Min was beautiful, inside and out, loving, thoughtful, caring, giving, considerate, hard-working, God-loving, down-to-earth, downright cool and a whole lot more. Her sons are a lot like her as well.
Bobby, Stephen, Tommy, Sal, Mickey, Jimmy and to your families, as well as David's adult children, Aunt Dona and all who are grieving so much for Min, you truly have my deepest, sincerest condolences. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

My Grandma, I still cannot believe you are gone. Not sure how things will be not revolving around you. I love you and miss you. The only comfort is that you are restored in Heaven and with Grandpa, Uncle David and our Tiffany! ❤️❤️😢🙏😇
