Michael Anthony Hartman, 48, of Mays Landing, New Jersey passed away peacefully March 19th from natural causes.

Mike was born and raised in Audubon, NJ where he grew up surrounded by a large and loving family. He graduated from Paul VI High School before attending LaSalle University and immediately meeting the love of his life Annemarie (Finan). The two started their young family early and began their life in Brigantine, New Jersey. Mike enjoyed spending early mornings on the beach or bay fishing for striper with his family and friends. He spent his nights and weekends coaching his children in various sports where he was usually the loudest person on the sideline. He was admired by his players for his firm no nonsense attitude but his willingness to do anything for them. Mike spent the majority of his adult life as a plumber at the Taj Mahal, and, most recently, the Ocean Resort. He was a proud member of I.U.O.E. Local #68. He enjoyed working with his hands and passing his knowledge on to whomever would listen. Mike was quick to help anyone with any side project and would put in countless hours, asking for nothing but a beer in return. He cherished his Thursday bowling nights with family and friends despite never being able to best his sons.

Mike is survived by his wife Annemarie (nee Finan) and his three children Patrick, Evan, and Shannon; his mother Dorothy; his siblings William Hartman III (Cindy), Maryann Minardi (John), Kathy Martorano (Fred), Amy Pasquale (Tom) as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father William Hartman, and his brother-in-law Edward Martorano.

Due to government restrictions resulting from the spread of COVID-19, funeral services will be announced at a later date. In place of a formal viewing, the family urges relatives and friends to please share memories and stories on the Boakes Funeral Home Website. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the South Jersey Cancer Fund.
