Obituary for Kham Southavong

On March 19, 2020, the Lord received another angel.

Kham Southavong was born April 2, 1933 in Laos. In 1981, he came to America with his wife Doungta and his seven children, Bounnam, Ounkham, Phaythoun, Khampoun, Suka, Lampoon and Lamphay. His family travelled from New York to Philadelphia and then eventually resided permanently in Pleasantville, NJ. He worked as an EVS attendant in Claridge Hotel & Casino for 12 years. On his free time, you would see him working as a carpenter, upgrading his home and building hammocks. He was a man of less words but will be there when something needed fixing. He lived a wonderful life as a hard- working father, a devoted husband to his wife, and a wonderful grandfather to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and will continue to look over his family as he is enjoying his new life with his wife and son Khampoun.
