We lost a shining star with a really big heart, Kimberly Ann Oechsle left us to rejoice and continue her life with the Lord December 12, 2019. Waiting at the pearly gates for her was her grandmother Lillian Edwards, Grandfather George Edwards, and Grandmother Dawn Oechsle. Kimberly touched so many peoples lives around her. She worked for Italy’s Pizza for years. She would already know what you wanted to order before you could even ask. She had a great memory, very impressive. She prided herself in making you happy and bringing a smile to your face. She was always writing poetry and drawing. Music inspired Kimberly, you could always find her with one of her favorite guitars by her side, always singing songs to match the situation. She loved being around the children in her life, finding toys and games to play and doing whatever it took to make them smile. Even playing her guitar with them!
Family was the most important thing to Kimberly. She loved her nieces, Maddaleine Oechsle and Lillian Oechsle, and her nephew Jacob Oechsle so much. Couldn’t wait to spend time with then, sharing stories and creating new memories along the way they will never forget. She had an unbreakable bond with her brothers David Oechsle Jr., James Oechsle, and sister Nichole Oechsle, also her sisters-in-law Jennifer Oechsle and Betsy Oechsle. She would always make time to be with them all. She’d wear her silly hats and favorite lipstick and give you the BIGGEST kiss with such a beautiful smile that could brighten up even the cloudiest of days. Her father, David Karl Oechsle, Sr. and mother Bette Jane Oechsle were her heart. So many magical memories were made with them, football Sundays (GO EAGLES!), years of ice hockey (where she could kick any of the boys butts by the way), cooking some of our FAVORITE meals and always making enough for the family that could not attend. She would give the shirt off her back for anyone who needed it. You couldn’t ask for a better friend by your side.
“Forever in our hearts (Our Nova) will be brightening the heavens for the angels and all God’s children.”
We would like to invite you to join us in celebrating Kimberly’s life. The memorial service will be held at The Watering Hole Café, December 29, 2019 from 1-4 pm.
