Obituary for Ralph J. Shaw III

Ralph J.  Shaw III
Ralph J. Shaw III of Egg Harbor City, formally from Pomona and Port Republic. Was born on October 29, 1947 in Audubon, NJ to Ralph J. Shaw, Jr. and Martha T. Hallworth. Graduated from Pleasantville High School in 1966. Worked at Lenox China for a short period before spending 42 years at Atlantic Electric in the Power Plant and Combustion Turbine Departments. Was active for many years in Local 210 of the I.B.E.W. Served 11 years in the N.J. Army National Guard. Bowled in leagues for many years and had two 800 series and three 300 games. Won the Press “200 Club” Season Award in the early 80’s with a 813 series. Volunteered several years with Galloway West Ambulance Squad. Held a General Ham Radio Operator license for many years.

Survived by wife Sharon Ann Farina Shaw, Daughters Kellie (Dan) Haviland, Beth Ann Shaw (Jon), and Lisa Shaw, Neil (Susan) Skinner, Malissa (Mark) Skinner Lewis, also grandchildren Bridget (Jarred), Shannon and Dan Jr. Haviland, Paige Geiger and Domonic Betafucia, Rachel and Logan Skinner, Makayla and Mark Anthony Lewis III and his buddy bulldog Gordy.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, October 2nd at 1pm at the Egg Harbor City Cemetery, Moss Mill & Hamburg Avenue, Egg Harbor City, NJ 08215.
