Obituary for Beverly "Bev" DeLello

Beverly "Bev" DeLello
Beverly J. DeLello “Bev”, 66, of Mays Landing, formally of Broomall, PA and graduate of Yeadon High School, passed away after an extended illness, into rest, with her family by her side on May 1, 2018.

Destiny had Tony and Beverly meet 50 years ago. Beverly knew that night, that Tony was the man she would spend the rest of her life with, because he made her laugh. This June they would have been married for 44 years.

Tony and Beverly were blessed with a beautiful daughter Christine, whom she lovingly doted on and provided endless opportunities for a wonderful life.

In her younger years, Beverly was a cocktail waitress at the Guard House in Gladwyne, Pa, which hosted many celebrities and athletes.

Beverly loved life, was a passionate dog lover, loved her morning coffee and days at the beach. Her eyes and face lit up at the mention of her grandchildren and her joyous laughter would fill the room.

She is predeceased by her parents Russell Charles Bailey and Alice Marie (nee Munn) Bailey.

Beverly is survived by her husband Anthony “Tony” DeLello, daughter Christine and her husband Robert Doyle, older brother John Russell Bailey, sister, Katherine A. (nee Bailey) Jordan and husband Edward Jordan, three grandchildren Graham, Annabel and Scarlett Doyle, nieces and nephews Timothy Schmelzer, Jessica Saville, Shawn Schmelzer and her furry friend Harry.

A gathering will be held on Saturday, May 5th from 10-11am at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 5021 Harding Hwy, Mays Landing, NJ where a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11am, followed by burial at the Atlantic County Veteran’s Cemetery in Estell Manor, NJ.
