Obituary for Eileen E Griffin (Lafferty)

Eileen E Griffin (Lafferty)
Eileen (Lafferty) Griffin Age 72, passed away the evening of November 23, 2017 with her family by her side.

Born September 12, 1945 at home in Delaware Township (Cherry Hill) to John and Theodosia Lafferty she was one of nine children. She grew up in Delaware Township until she graduated high school. In 1965 she married Mickey Griffin and settled in Mt. Laurel where she made a home filled with love, happy times, good food and a welcoming place for all that visited.

For over 30 years Eileen has owned and operated Pleasant Valley Campground with her family. She helped make a beautiful place for families to come and relax and enjoy.

Eileen lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed spending time with family celebrating holidays, traveling, and taking photos of things she loved like flowers, butterflies, and family.

She especially adored her grandchildren, who could do no wrong in her eyes.

A person of deep faith in God, that embraced life, she nurtured and inspired everyone that knew her.

Eileen is survived by her beloved husband Mickey of 52 years, son Mick Griffin (Lana) of Ocean City, NJ, daughters Mollie Amato (Anthony) of Medford Lakes, NJ, Amy McComb (Mickie) of Upper Township, NJ; grandsons Anthony and Austin Amato, and granddaughters Cassidy and Keely McComb. She will be deeply missed.
